O60 first win

Well done all, in the first game of the Season, massive win.

After a rest week (a rest from the rain?) we next have the challenge of a HOME game against league leaders ST IVES GREEN (2 pm Start, Wednesday 18 May)).

The team is:

Alex, Bill, Ray

Paul, John W, Malcolm

Mike W, Dorothy, Mike P

Reserves: Keith, Elaine

So Alex retains the Captain’s armband, but the successful pack has been shuffled a bit.

Until things settle down I am picking the teams week by week: if this gives anyone a problem, let me know, I’ll try to fix their matches for a few weeks.

Please let me know if you can’t play this week.

Over 60s Season Starts

Not so lucky with the results last week, 2 – 5 down. Never mind we go again at HOME to the modestly named RAMSEY GOLD 2pm Start on Wednesday 19 May. They won their first match (5 – 2) but I don’t yet have results for Week 2.

Our Team is: Jennie, John G, Mike P, Paul, Bill, Malcolm, Elaine, Joe, Tom (Reserves: John W and Alex)

I think the rain will still be around so be ready for that.
